Ashlee Pearce is an AMPIA-nominated producer and founder of Picture Show Media, an Alberta-based production company built around one idea that great stories can be both emotionally true and commercially successful.

A graduate with a BFA in Theatre and Motion Picture Arts Acting, Ashlee began her career in front of the camera before discovering her passion for producing. Her experience working across departments gave her a deep understanding of what it takes to bring a film to life, from creative development to final delivery.

After joining Northern Gateway Films, she produced and production managed a range of broadcast and independent features, refining her skills in financing, scheduling, and creative collaboration. Over the past decade, she’s helped deliver more than a dozen films for major networks, including Lifetime and CW, with additional releases on Paramount+, Peacock, and TF1.

A career highlight includes Legends of Conquest 3D, a Telefilm-supported feature that reflects her commitment to pushing creative and technical boundaries.

Now, through Picture Show Media, Ashlee is developing a slate of original projects that showcase her voice as a producer - grounded, character-driven, and globally minded. Current titles include InstaFame, a modern reimagining of The Picture of Dorian Gray, and Chrysalis of Time, an intergenerational drama exploring memory, love, and legacy. Ashlee’s focus remains on producing female-led, emotionally resonant stories that connect with audiences across genres and borders.
