Jenna MacMillan is an award-winning filmmaker and the founder of Club Red Productions, the leading independent production company on Prince Edward Island.
Her feature directorial debut, THE SNAKE, written by and starring Susan Kent, is currently in post-production and slated to premiere in 2026. She also produced the PEI thriller A SMALL FORTUNE (sold internationally) and 2023’s most successful Canadian comedy feature WHO’S YER FATHER (Paramount+.)
Most recently, Jenna produced PRETTY BLIND, the first ever scripted comedy for AMI, which premiered in August 2025. Before launching Club Red, she served as Director of Production & Development at Northwood Entertainment, working on the CSA-winning series ANNE WITH AN E (CBC/Netflix) and the hit feature THE GRIZZLIES (Netflix).
Jenna is the Executive Director of the Charlottetown Film Festival, now entering its 11th year in October 2025. She has been recognized with numerous honours, including the DGC-Ontario & WIFT-T Directing Mentorship Award, DGC Atlantic’s Making Waves Award for trailblazing community efforts, and WIFT-AT’s Filmmaker of the Year.
