SERA-LYS is an award winning actor & producer, model and one of the hottest film and television actors in Canada. Recurring roles on Arctic Air, Burden of Truth, Pretty Hard Cases, Diggstown and Hard Rock Medical. Guest starred on Outlander as Mohawk healer ‘Johiehon’ and alongside Cobie Smulders in Netflix's Friends From College. This indie-film darling has lead roles in Don’t Say Its Name (Best Lead Performance, Blood in the Snow Film Festival), Café Daughter, Robbery, Angela’s Shadow, Many Wounds, and Broken Angel (Best Actress, American Indian Film Festival).
Sera-Lys began producing short films in 2012. She now has 5 award-winning short films under her belt, which she also starred in, that have done extremely well on the festival circuit. Two films have also gained distribution on streaming platforms; The Wolf of Waubamik Woods (Xfinity / Prime) & kwêskosîw (She Whistles) (Crave). Sera-Lys is the founder of Fanning Feathers Productions, which was named after the literal translation of her Nakoda Nation. She is committed to telling stories that have a positive impact on Indigenous visibility and raise awareness about issues affecting Indigenous peoples & communities, while still aiming to entertain a wide mainstream audience.
