Magali Gillon-Krizaj

Magali Gillon-Krizaj, winner of the 2022 Indiescreen Kevin Tierney Emerging Producer Award, produces original content in both French and English in the form of TV series, features and documentaries. Originally from Montreal, she’s now been based in Vancouver since 2009. She has over 25 years of experience in the film & television industry. Presently in production with TOFINO the 1st French TV fiction series out of BC and participating at the International Financing Forum at TIFF’24 with TAKING THE WATERS, our 2nd co-production feature with Switzerland. Previous credits include: coproduction feature UNTIL BRANCHES BEND (TIFF’22, PÖFF‘22, SXSW‘23, Locarno‘23, winner of Best BC Film, Prix de Soleure‘23, winner Netflix Breakthrough Award Athena Fest‘24) and THE CANNON (WIFF‘17; CFF‘18). TV credits: Citoyen 2.0 (sold TV5 Monde; SIFA ‘22); TERRES D’EXPLORATION, winner Best Cinematography’18, Best Screenwriting’19 at Leo Awards, nominated Best series’17, ‘18 at the Gemeaux Awards (sold TV5 Monde, Ushuaïa TV, Knowledge Network, TV Monaco, YouTube Little Dot) and web-series THE DRIVE (winner Best Web Series at the Leo Awards, Best Director at the Vancouver Web Festival’16, etc).
