Rachel Bulatovich is a creative producer and development/current executive that has recently launched her own Toronto-based production company, Hi/Lo Entertainment, in partnership with Ryan Greig, Clinton Brown, and Valerie Laurie. Hi/Lo is a full-service prodco that offers both modular and holistic production services for productions of all formats and scales, as well as an exciting slate of original content that Rachel is building with some of the country’s most exciting talent, many from frequently underrepresented communities. The Hi/Lo original slate is also diverse in format and tone, ranging from genre features to cerebral docuseries to feel-good comedies; it represents the kind of content we love to watch and, in line with the company name, interrogates our preconceptions of what is considered “high” or “low” art.
Rachel previously worked as the Director of Development & Production at Neshama Entertainment where she managed a large volume of projects from concept ideation to final delivery, overseeing all creative and producorial decisions from beat sheet to final VFX. Prior to that, she worked in the Scripted Television Programming department at Entertainment One (now Lionsgate Canada) where she specialized in identifying and developing adaptable IP for the small screen.
