Karen Walton is a veteran screen and television writer-executive producer whose credits include penning the original horror film GINGER SNAPS (2000), and writing acclaimed television movies and series, including QUEER AS FOLK (Showtime) and ORPHAN BLACK (Bell/BBC America). Founding-Admin of the extraordinary online community for Canadian Screenwriters, inkcanada, Karen's body of work has been recognized by the Canadian Screen Academy's Margaret Collier Award, Best Writing - TV Movie Award, WIFT Toronto's Crystal Award for Mentorship, and the Writers Guild of Canada's Writers Block Award.
