Alexandra Roberts is a producer of ambitious and forward-thinking feature scripted, documentary, and episodic content. She cut her teeth in the industry on the first season of VICE’s Emmy-winning newsmagazine series for HBO, and since then her work has aired internationally on Al Jazeera English, VICELAND and ARTE, and streamed on Netflix, Hulu, CBC Gem and Amazon Prime, among others.

She received her MA in Media Studies from the New School, a BA in Cultural Studies from McGill University, and is an alumni of the Producers’ Lab at the Canadian Film Centre. She is currently in post-production on TRIBE, the debut feature from Queer Latinx director Joseph Amenta, with support from the Telefilm Talent to Watch Program, Canada Council for the Arts, Ontario Arts Council, Toronto Arts Council, and the Inside Out Film Financing Forum. The film is set to premiere in 2022.
