COHORT 3 PARTICIPANT

Kat Montagu is a writer, producer, story editor, and teacher. Her scripts have won awards and development funding. She wrote for the television series Alienated. She has story edited many produced films, and developed TV series. She is currently writing a time travel novel-to-TV series adaptation and an original series about witchcraft. Kat has won VFS’s Instructor of the Year and the WIFTV Leadership in Education Award. She is a full-time faculty member at Vancouver Film School and the senior story editor for Crazy 8s short filmmaking competition. Kat is taking a break from story editing to develop her own writing career. She recently signed with manager Perry Zimel.
