Janine Heath (she/her) honours BFA York University, is a proven idea runner with a growth mindset. Collaborating with key stakeholders and creative talent across a diverse set of disciplines, Janine’s mission in her work is to create positive social content in community with others. Janine has contributed to over 25 programs greenlit by CBC, History Television, Discovery Channel and leading international distribution outlets in the role of Line Producer. In 2011 Janine was selected for The CFC NFB Documentary Program, which led to the role of Production Manager on the feature film Stories We Tell, directed by Oscar® nominated Director Sarah Polley. This film has been lauded as one of TIFF’s Top 10 Canadian Films of all time. In recent years as a management executive (Business Development, Shaftesbury) and service producer to the creator economy, (Co-Founder, Eatable Films) Janine supported businesses building to scale. From this lens she is hyper focussed on helping entrepreneurs to succeed by providing growth strategy and services to independent producers in the post Covid content distribution landscape. In 2021, Janine launched GreenLightPackage.com, a media production services company made for independent producers in Canada to deliver their best shows. The mission of Green Light Package is to create an advantage for independent producers in Canada to excel in the business of media production - on time and on budget.
